About
Service, craft, and a chair with your name on it
Driven by service and work ethic. U.S. Navy veteran. Retired police dispatcher. Founder of the Maricopa Veterans group — built on the principle of veterans helping veterans.
The craft
Barbering is my trade and my passion. It lets me connect with the community and provide a needed service — making men look and feel better.
I learned the craft through hands-on apprenticeship under Joe Templin, Frank Moreno, and Sam Aldena at Joe's: A Barbershop in Maricopa, AZ. I credit those men entirely for my skills.
I began my apprenticeship in 2019, and was fully licensed by the State of Arizona in 2021. When Joe's needs a fill-in, I'm there. When my chair is open, this is where I am.
The Philosophy
What a barbershop is for
A barbershop is much more than a place to get a haircut. It's where a man goes to get away from his boss, his wife, traffic, and the other stresses life puts on him. A place to leave the demands of the outside world behind and make it about him.
A place to be around other men, and to deepen the bond between fathers and their sons.
So come in. Take a load off. Have a beer. Escape for a while.
